Cheers to a Happy and Healthy New Year for All!

At last evening's Council Meeting, Borough Council unanimously appointed Emily Heinz as Council President and Kris Bauman as Vice-President. We look forward to this new beginning of working together in service to Newtown Borough!

As with every reorganization, there are changes in leadership on many of the Committees of Council as can be seen on our officials page. We also reappointed 14 members to our various Committees of Council and welcomed a new volunteer member as well! This is a great testament to the dedication of our borough residents to the community in which we live. We do still have a handful of vacancies if you'd like to consider one of the remaining 2024 Volunteer Opportunities. We are very grateful to each and every volunteer!
