E-News Update

Hello, All!

Today, Tuesday, May 16th, is our Primary Election Day. We hope you can get out to vote on this beautiful day if you haven't already!

Speaking of nice weather, our annual street sweeping will indeed begin tomorrow as scheduled, Wednesday, May 17th and Thursday, May 18th! We would greatly appreciate if everyone would move their vehicles off the street so we can clear away as much debris as possible. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

We recently informed you of an upcoming pedestrian survey that is now available by clicking pedestrian safety and walkability study. We would love to get your input either at a pop-up meeting or through the survey.

Have you heard that we have a new Borough Council vacancy in Ward 1? Please see Borough Council Vacancy for more information.

Did you know that Borough Council has advertised an amendment to the Streets & Sidewalk Ordinance? Please click here to learn more!

The month of May is never complete without the annual Memorial Day Parade! Please see here for the parade route and details, including the Vintage Baseball game to follow.

Best regards,

Newtown Borough Mayor & Council
