Medication Take-Back Event

For those who might miss the collection event, free and anonymous medication disposal is available year-round via any of the 44 permanent drop boxes located in police stations and hospitals throughout Bucks County. In most locations, all medications will be accepted, including pills, capsules, ointments, patches, liquids, nasal sprays, inhalers, and pet medications. Needles and illicit drugs are not accepted at police locations; however, sharps collection containers are now located in five Bucks County hospitals. Visit www.bcdac.org to find permanent drop-box locations, which include the Newtown Borough PD.
